StoMTO

About us

Built from the yard — not a museum.

StoMTO comes from more than twenty years in the building trade: sites, yards, merchants, and hard landscaping. It is takeoff software for people who already know what a pack of paving and a joint gap feel like.

Who builds it

Phil Stone is Residential & Trade Sales Director at Irish Stone in Hillsborough, Northern Ireland — natural stone and hard landscaping across NI and ROI, including The Hillsborough Collection. Day job is still the yard: samples, stock, trade accounts, and getting the right stone on the right job.

Alongside that he builds live trade tools from problems that show up at work — STOCut for sheet cutting and offcuts, Todayworks for site diaries, CertPing for certs that lapse in the glovebox, and now StoMTO for plan takeoff that speaks paving, kerbs, joints, and packs.

Why StoMTO exists

Estimators and yards still bounce between generic PDF markup, desktop takeoff seats, and spreadsheets that do not know face-versus-laid or pack coverage. StoMTO is browser-first measure → materials with hardscape maths, local folder save, and optional catalogue feeds — without pretending to be a drawing drive or an automatic AI bid machine.

You set the scale. You own the quantities. The desk is there to make that faster and more defensible when you go back to the customer or the merchant.

How we sell it

No contracts. Clear Solo / Yard / Merchant packages. Seven-day trial with a card, cancel anytime. Prices excl. VAT. Files stay beside the drawing on your device — StoMTO does not host plans as a product.
